BE InSpirEd Refugee/Immigration Day Event

When

Sunday, May 15, 2022
10:00am - 11:15am
This Sunday Beth El’s BE InSpirEd program and the Sanctuary Committee will be sponsoring a special program on “welcoming the stranger.” , Beth El’s religious school program will include a read-aloud program featuring books about refugees and being “a stranger in a strange land.”

Our guest speaker is Tania Vitvitsky, an American citizen in Sudbury who was born in Ukraine. She will be speaking about the recent history of Ukraine and Russia, what is going on now, and what people like us can do – and are doing – to help.

In conjunction with this program the Beth El Sanctuary Committee is asking for your help supporting Jewish Family Services of Metrowest as they prepare for the newest refugee arrivals. Click here for the list of goods needed.

Due to Covid restrictions only families of religious school students will attend in person. All others are invited to join us via Zoom.
