Jay Shofet on environmental conservation in Israel

Following Friday night services and oneg, hear some positive news from Israel directly from Jay Shofet, director of development for the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI). Jay will discuss SPNI’s innovative re-wilding project Start-Up Nature, which aims to restore Israel’s wetlands and biodiversity and is also providing carbon capture to mitigate climate change. Learn more about where the Start-Up Nation meets the green revolution, with Israeli eco-innovations advancing sustainability worldwide. He will also speak about how Israel’s “Judicial Reform” is a threat to all essential environmental advocacy work in Israel.
