The curriculum of JALSA (Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action) connects Jewish theology and history with the current movement for immigrant rights. What do our Jewish values say about immigration today? JALSA’s “Judaism & Immigrant Justice” curriculum is exclusively on Zoom and connects Jewish theology and history with the current movement for immigrant rights. Following a grounding in sacred texts, the program explores the relationship between the Jewish community and the American immigration system. It ends with a call to support our immigrant neighbors through concrete action steps.
