Life and Change on the Continuum with Chella Man

When

Tuesday, February 1, 2022
5:00pm - 7:00pm

On the first day of Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month, join members of Hillel International’s student cohort community for real talk with Chella on life as a Deaf, genderqueer, transmasculine Chinese Jewish powerhouse. Since leaving high school as a junior to attend college early, he’s published his first book Continuum, participated in numerous gallery shows and artist residencies internationally, worked as a columnist for Condé Naste’s first queer publication Them, launched a radically inclusive clothing line in collaboration with Opening Ceremony, signed as the first Deaf and transmasculine model with IMG Models, and was cast as a superhero within Warner Brothers’ DC Universe, the TV show “Titans.” He hopes to continue pushing the boundaries of what it means to be accessible, inclusive, and equal in this world. Join us for a conversation led by student leaders from Hillel International’s Student Cabinet.

Cosponsored by Hillel at New School, Hillel at Columbia University, and Hillel International’s Center for Engagement, Inclusion, and Wellness and Department of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. Click here to register.
