Tu b’Av songfest — 6:45-8:30pm

Tu b’Av (the 15^th of Av) is a Jewish day of love, a time for celebrating the lush outdoors and seeking one another’s company. Let’s enjoy the pleasure of shared song for a couple of dreamy summer hours! Led by Cantor Vera Broekhuysen and Cantor Emerita Lorel Zar-Kessler, we’ll sit together, schmooze and sing popular songs of love in English, Hebrew and more. Bring a copy of “Rise Up Singing” if you have it; bring an instrument if you play one; bring something sweet and snacky to share. All are welcome! If weather permits, we’ll be in the Gan Dorot (the Beth El garden).
